Busy week coming up for Wild Type Ranch
This coming week is a big one for markets and deliveries. Demand for our beef is growing weekly, so we recommend ordering ahead to enhance your chances of getting the cuts you desire. Better yet, sign up for one of our subscription programs, and you’ll be first in line each month.
SCHEDULE CHANGE; Brazos Market This Saturday: We will be at the Brazos Valley market this Saturday as well as next Saturday. Come out and see us from 8-noon on the corner of Texas Ave and Wm. J. Bryan Pkwy.
MESSINA HOF BIRTHDAY BASH THIS COMING SUNDAY: The Brazos Valley Farmer’s Market vendors will be selling their wares at the Messina Hof Winery’s annual Birthday Bash on Sunday from 1-4 pm. In addition to a full Farmer’s Market, there will be food, wine tasting and tours. Visit the Messina Hof website for directions and more details.
SUN CITY, ARBORETUM, ROUND ROCK AND CEDAR PARK MONTHLY DELIVERIES NEXT WEEK: Next week we will be making our monthly deliveries to Austin-Arboretum, Cedar Park, Sun City and Round Rock. Sun City will be a mini-market in the Activity Center parking lot from 9-10 with a few other vendors from the regular market. The other sites are deliveries for pre-orders only. Be sure to get your order in!
CHECK OUT THE NEW LOOK OF OUR WEBSITE: We’ve updated our website! Although we’ve still got some more improvements to make, we think you’ll like the new look and feel of it. We’ve now got a full calendar of our market dates and appearances, for one thing. Be sure to check out the photo gallery and feel free to leave comments.
HALF/QUARTER/EIGHTH ORDERING DEADLINE: The deadline for ordering a half beef from this upcoming harvest is March 6th. Eighths or quarters must be ordered by March 10th. Beef will be available March 20th.
NEW DYER MERCANTILE HOURS: Our friends at Dyer Mercantile have expanded the operating hours of their farm store. They are now open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-7 and Sunday 1-6. Be sure to visit their website and sign up for their new newsletter.

OUR BEEF AT RETAIL: Check out the retail outlets that carry a selection of our beef. If they don’t have what you want, just ask, and we’ll do our best to start stocking it.
- Village Foods 1760 Briarcrest Drive, Bryan, carries our beef in a special freezer for “Natural Beef”, across from the fresh meat case. Village Foods has been great about working with us and other local suppliers.
- Dyer Mercantile (7801 E. Hwy. 29, Georgetown) carries our beef in the “Wild Type Ranch” chest freezer. Regular hours are weekdays 4:30-7 pm , Saturdays 9 am-7 pm and Sundays 10 am -6 pm. Other hours may be available by appointment.
- Village Café 210 W 6th St, downtown Bryan is now featuring our beef on some of their menu items.
